megabloks mommy party

I finally got to host my first mommy party, sponsored by MegaBloks. It really turned out to be a lot of fun for the kids, and the parents, too. MegaBloks sent 10 goody bags for the kids who came to our play date. The kids were so excited to be able to take home their very own set, and the parents all had a great time helping them play! We had just enough block sets for each child who came, it worked out perfectly.

MegaBloks also sent me a large TubTown Farm, and my kids have not stopped playing with it for the past four weeks. They seriously play with this set every single day! The coolest thing, is that we have noticed how good my 1-year-old has gotten at putting them together in just these few weeks that she's been using them. I honestly think this is really good daily practice for her motor skills. She's also almost perfected using her baby fork and baby spoons during these last two weeks, and I think all the extra practice using her hand-eye coordination has something to do with it. How cool is that? We're big on finding toys that help them use their imaginations and encourage that sort of play, so these blocks really add to that effort. I really hope all the kids that came are getting some use out of their blocks, because we still are. MegaBloks also provided a raffle prize of their 52-piece Rescue Center set, which my little nephew won! I know that he will get hours and hours of imaginative, family play out of that set, and that makes me one happy aunt. Here are a few pics from the kids at the party.

Little lady had a great time at the party.

Focusing and concentrating on her creation.

Wow, Mom! Look what I got!

He was so cute I had to put two pictures of him.

Two of the girls, working together.

My youngest, in her favorite new place to sit. At least once a day.

More play time in the family room.

Brother and sister playing with their new MegaBloks.

 They taste good too.

More guests helping the kids put their stickers on their new toys.

My nephew Keston (pictured on far right in red) won the raffle prize!

The party really turned out to be a lot of fun. I know the kids had a blast, and the parents were all happy that their kids were happy. The coolest part is that everyone just got to come and have fun, no one was asked to buy anything and they still walked away with an awesome gift. If you are thinking of a good gift to buy for the kids in your life this Christmas, I think MegaBloks is a great choice. They have so many different sets to choose from! You can check out their website here.

Thank you to MomSelect for allowing me to host this party!

*Disclaimer: I was selected by MomSelect and Mega Bloks to host this party. I received free product to keep and to give to my guests in exchange for my post. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions are 100% mine.
